00 Hey, you're listening to The Adventure of Pumlin on W4CY Radio. Yo, happy Monday. It's Positively Pipe Man here on the Adventures of Pipe Man on W4CY Radio. And Aftershock is over. We're going to recap that this coming week. And there's lots of interviews you're going to have to check out. But for now, we have the resident pet health guru expert with us.

03 So let's bring on the show, Bill, the Pet Health Guru. Thank you, Dean, for having me. It's a pleasure to be here. How are you doing today? Oh, I'm beautiful. What health problems do we have to deal with with you? Say that again? I said, what health issues do we have to deal with with you today? Probably festival dust, festival flu, aches and pains from mosh pits. No rest for four days. Just to name a few of the things. You don't want to hear about my female problems, though.

45 That's a two different topic altogether. Oh, yeah. For sure. So, you know what? What are we even talking about here? Are they worth the dollars? are what worth the dollars? All those little bottles that you find in the vitamin stores and in the so-called health food stores that have no food, of course, in all the grocery stores now, and all the things that so-called alternative medicine is using instead of the patented drug. And so we're going to talk a little bit about what goes into some of these supplements and things like that, because people will be amazed that most of the stuff doesn't work, that actually the supplement business was created by the pharmaceutical company, the patented medicine people, as the alternative to making money for them.

50 And so maybe they put stuff in there so you have to take their drugs. Is that what you're saying? I couldn't actually say that because it will shut us down. Yeah, there's a lot of questionable things. And in fact, when you look at a lot of these supplements and that sort of thing, you have to first of all start with, how are they made? You know, you can't go out and pick vitamin B off a tree. Really? Yeah. You know, iron, oh, I need, the doctor says I'm anemic. I need iron. Okay, where am I going to find it? Are you going to take a chunk of iron ore and start chewing on it?

32 By the way, I have to stop you right there because that is the most dangerous supplement there is. Yes. Because your body does not get rid of iron. It stores it. So if you're putting iron in your body and not regulating it, you can toxify yourself to death. That's one of the major things that we found, especially in the last decade, looking at minerals and that sort of thing, is that basically your body has a thousand times plus the amount of iron that it will ever use in a lifetime. But doctors are testing blood. They're not testing the body. And the blood is only a transport system. So it's taking stuff from one place to another.

22 And if they're looking at it and saying, oh, you're anemic, you need an iron supplement, it's because the iron is stored in the tissue, not in the blood. And one of the other little things, just to throw it in here, when you look at when they're doing blood work, the majority of the time they're taking it out of your left arm. And the reason they do that is because blood circulates down your right side and back to the heart of your left side. So that blood is all going to be depleted of everything that they want to sell you something new up. Hmm. Interesting. I didn't know that. Most people don't, you know, but that's by design. I mean, let's face it, you know, right now there's a whole thing is with vitamin D the same way. Okay. The reason the vitamin D isn't in the blood because your body's using it to heal itself and to, and to, build itself back up. And this is what we're finding with so many of these so-called deficiencies and things like that.

24 It's not only that the testing is bad, but also we have to look at the form that it's in. You know, when you look at magnesium, for instance, it's been studied all over the place lately. You know, there's 8, 10, 12 different forms of magnesium. And, you know, I've was talking with on another interview with a expert in the mineral field. And it's like, how can we all be magnesium deficient when every supplement on the market basically has magnesium stearate in it? And it's, it's not a form that we can use. It's actually a preservative.

09 It's like, well, it's, It's interesting you brought that up because two things I want to add to this is, one, I know it's not a lot of supplements. It always says, like, 2,000% of. The daily value. Like, what good is that doing you if it's 2,000%? That means you're overdoing it, kind of like overdoing pharmaceuticals. But here's something interesting on that point is every once in a while I go get a B12 shot, okay? And. What I always notice is that my urine is the same color as the shot. So does that mean that I'm taking that shot and it's just leaving my body and not doing crap?

52 Yeah, exactly. That's what's happening. I mean, the same thing with vitamin C. You take a whole bunch of so-called vitamin C and, you know, you just pee it out. It stays out of the body. I'll take that a step further too, by the way. Sorry to interrupt, but not only that, own experience too much vitamin C is bad for you it causes kidney stones I have them I've had them and it is from the times that I would take something because I was sick and over indulge in the vitamin C and then that forms a stone I'll also tell you that I had a brother that when he was young he turned into a vegan but he was he ate so many carrots and drank so much carrot juice that his skin turned orange from too much beta carotene. And now I'll go the other end with the supplements. So there's a lot of these people that... And there was one that was on the station that pushed supplements that these...

04 These people don't know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and that's dangerous for your body. And one of her best supplements, the best, was her colloidal silver. Now, colloidal silver is so dangerous permanently, and I know somebody that's happened to, but many of you might have remembered the Oprah episode with the blue man. And that was from too much colloidal silver. I knew somebody here in South Florida that worked for my dad that was a blue man because he got an infection on his arm from fiberglass in the spas. He treated that infection with colloidal silver. But the thing is, you're only supposed to use a little. You're not supposed to directly put it on stuff. And he was Directly putting it on and in big doses. And he turned like a bluish gray forever because that never gets out of you. Like the fact is, is why you're that color is because the silver is stuck in your skin. So you guys got to stop going by these so-called magic pills, you know, and so-called, you know, miracle remedies. And you better do some research because you could do some serious damage as irreversible.

29 Not all healthy things are healthy for you if done improperly. That's exactly right. It's like, you know, most of the, when we look at vitamins and minerals that are in supplement form, first off, we have to ask, where did they derive those from? You know, we have no idea whether they were just strictly made in, you know, they're looking at the chemistry, was it made in a chemistry lab with all synthetics? Those the body can't use anyway, for the most part. The second part. is what was contained in the process? The extraction. Even when I look at tinctures and things of this nature, were they using steam, which breaks down the molecules? Were they using distilled water that has nothing Or were they using something like hexane or acetone? These are all chemicals that are basically fundamentally creating a synthetic product. Of course, the other thing is, too, when we look at whole foods, to utilize, for instance, to utilize calcium, you have to have magnesium. You have to have manganese. You have to have phosphorus in the right ratios. You have to have the vitamin D3, the K2.

48 all those have to come together just like creating a meal as a, as a whole unit. And you also can't take them all together. Like, I think people don't realize that Dr. Jafari put me on supplements and she said when I had to take the supplements so that they weren't like cross doing anything to each other or, or what have you. Well, you need the synergy of the whole product. I mean, like when we look at something like, um, When they make an extract of that that's 20 times stronger, the actual powder actually works 20 times better because there's other activators in there. We did a clinical back 15 years ago with a formulator that was looking to use meadowsweet as a painkiller for arthritic dogs, hip joints, and migraines in people. And every time they extracted a single component out, just one component, and they had identified about 15 different components in the meadowsweet plant, every time they took it out, neither product would work because it needed the synergies, the energy from the other components that were in it. And, you know, of course, as our technology improved, by the time they finished the study, they were up to about 30 different components that they didn't even know existed in it.

16 But You know, this is where the problem starts. Plus, when you add a supplement, a specific supplement, whether it's vitamin A, D, C, iron, zinc, whatever, you're replacing something else in the body to be able to put that in. And it actually creates a deficiency with other items that you don't even know is happening. And like you said, you know, most of the stuff you need small quantities once in a while if you're eating a good diet. Clean food is the key to that. But, you know, we mentioned vitamin C, and I actually pulled some information up here. You know, the number one source of vitamin C is normally, you know, citric acid or ascorbic acid.

06 Those are not natural products. Citric acid does not come from citrus. It is actually.... Just the fact that it says acid. It is actually fermented black mold. Oh, yummy. Which is why we're now seeing, when you stop and think about it, why are we having trouble with black mold that's been on the earth for millions of years? When up to about 30 years ago, there was never a problem with it. Because now we've added an antigen through the citric acid that's going to create a reaction that Because the body says, I've got too much of that in my body now. Plus, of course, black mold absorbs aerosol and airborne pollutants. It's a cleanser. So everything that they've sprayed on you with the chemtrails and the weather modification, all of that sort of thing, is being absorbed in mold and, of course, in pollen the same way.

07 I want to add, too, that, like, If you're eating properly, you don't need supplements. No. And like there's people that are vegan and, you know, I did vegan and reverse the diabetes and I eat some vegan stuff. They require supplements because in a vegan diet, you're not getting everything that you need nutritionally. So, yes, then there's a need for it. But I think any of this stuff should be done by a professional diet. Not some snake oil salesperson hawking supplements. Most of these people hawking supplements right now. They don't have any credentials.

49 They don't have any expertise. They have no education, no training, nothing. To me, you're the professional because it's something you do. It's something you have education in. It's something that you have years and years of application in. You didn't wake up one day and say, oh, this will be a good moneymaker. I'll prey on people's health and sell this supplement that I have no idea what's in it because I just had some company white label it for me. Well, the interesting thing about that, too, is a lot of these companies, you know, of course, you have a couple of big ones that have 9000 different supplements. But a lot of these so-called specialty ones that we see all over the Internet now are basically looking at one problem and one solution. The body is a complex machine.

36 It needs all the components. If we need a certain vitamin or a nutrient to repair or to rebuild or whatever it happens to be to eliminate a challenge, you need to look for the food that contains those ingredients because that's going to be the most valuable. And, you know, people don't even realize that their food is supposed to carry nutrients. I mean, I hear it all the time in the store. Oh, I've been feeding my dog a raw diet now for six months. Where are they getting the nutrients from? I mean, I have to look at them and say, if you're not getting it out of your food, why are you buying it? Right. Exactly. What I said before, you know, like the nutrients should already be there if you're eating properly. You won't need thousands of dollars of supplements that are basically placebos.

30 Well, the other thing on that citric acid thing that I wanted to bring up is in order to create this The mold is actually fed high-fructose corn syrup. Oh, my Lord. So now you've got a whole other category, and that's going in your body every time you take it. You know, other things, like I said, the ascorbic acid is just as bad. You know what I love on supplements is in the ingredients where it says inactive ingredients. Why do I need inactive ingredients? Yes.

12 That one kills me. Of course, being from inside the pet industry for so many years, too, insecticidal products that are out there. Everybody was looking for the safest flea and tick spray, shampoo, or treatment that you could find. And you looked at the can. So you're trying to find something that maybe had natural pyrethrum products from the chrysanthemum. Or a synthetic pyrethroid, which now we know are horrible as well, but the lowest amount. So, you know, you've got 0.72% active ingredients. What's the rest of it? And how does that little actually kill the insect? And it's true with roach sprays and everything else. Well, the truth of the matter is, is it's combined usually with alcohol, which burns the hell out of the dog. and basically you end up with a whole bunch of drunken insects that are breeding like crazy, and that's why you always have an infestation afterwards. Or they used oil, soy oil or corn oil, as their inert thing. Both those items, soybean oil and corn oil, are registered insecticides with the FDA and the EPA. You know, I tell people all the time, you know, if you're using, you know, do you use like that spray on your pans when you're cooking,

43 you know, which is usually a corn oil or soybean base? I said, why don't you just grab the can of Raid? Because it's the same thing. I've tried that. It doesn't taste that good. No. I know. But this is a problem with a lot of this stuff. And, of course, then you also look at things like sorbitol. And then you're also looking at to make it, the equipment. They fill the jars and the capsules with pneumatic lines, plastic lines. So you've got plasticizers and BPA and all that in the tubing. But that tubing plugs up because those powders are electrostatic. So they get clumping and it plugs it up and you can't fill more than about four capsules or four jars at a time. And then you have maintenance problems. So to that product, and I use turmeric as a good example because you find it in every supermarket and they use it in so many different uses. But when you buy it, you pick it up and the jar says turmeric.

48 That's the whole ingredient pattern. you know, label. However, to pack it, and this is called processing, so it doesn't have to be listed, they have anti-caking agents, anti-stick agents, different types of chemical lubricants. Because they added chemicals, they also added natural flavors, which we have no idea what any of that stuff is. I love that one. Natural flavors. Wouldn't the natural flavors be naturally there in whatever you're naturally putting into. It? That was part of the terminology that they had to do when MSG became a nasty thing to have on your label. And so they just mixed the MSG with a whole bunch of other chemicals. and call it natural flavors. And there's no way, you know, again, how it's processed or anything else.

43 And, you know, just as an example, you know, what's wild is before they made a big thing about MSG, one of my favorite quote unquote spices to use when I would cook stuff was accent, which was just pure MSG. Yeah. Yeah. It's, there's just too much of that stuff. I mean, I can remember, um, even when I started in the industry, if you went into a supermarket, this was 60 years ago, the McCormick spice rack, spices and herbs, would be four to six feet top to bottom. Now you go in, and you might find a three-foot section on one shelf of actual herbs and spices. The rest of it is all combinations of chemistry and maybe a dash of I don't know, basil or something, you know, it's like, you know, and, and of course the fancy name, you know, Southwest blend, Northwest blend, you know?

45 Oh yeah. It's just like, also I. Find it wild with most things like, like candies and cookies. Okay. Although that stuff's not good for you, but why is every company now doing everything? It used to be, If you want this kind of candy, you went, you bought this. If you want this kind of candy, you bought that. Now it's everybody makes a, you know, a Reese's peanut butter cup. You know, everybody makes a, you know, Milky Way. Everybody. It's like weird to me, like all these choices and the mad science nowadays. I look at some of the cereals now that I, you know, I used to love the really sweet cereals like I was in. Publix the other day, and it's that time of year. That would only be that time of year that my favorite cereal ever would be out, and that's Count Chocula. And, you know, I don't eat it now, but what blows my mind is everything I see on that aisle, I'm like, man, I wish that was around when I was eating, like, crap.

55 I don't even get to try that. It's like, I just saw recently, what was it? It was some kind of Lucky Charms that was... Totally different. Like they just, they do this mad science with everything. Even with the whole trend of vaping and, you know, and medical marijuana. Okay. Like there's some mad science going on there. I don't know. Last I checked, marijuana doesn't taste like watermelon. Okay. And these people vaping, like I remember I smoked cigarettes. I hated menthol cigarettes because to me, a cigarette should taste like a cigarette, not like a peppermint candy.

40 And now vaping, it's like, oh, I can get. Like there's 10,000 different flavors. Like that should tell you something, people. That's even worse. OK, like nine out of 10 doctors recommend Camel cigarettes for better health. They didn't even recommend any nowadays. Okay, because it's just so out there. And I don't get it, man. I don't get where people don't get it. That's the part that gets me all the time. But we got to run. And I know that Juan has to run and do another show. So real quick, give everybody your info and everything that needs to be known about the Pet Health Guru.

30 You got it. Okay. First off, our products, the BioComplete products, which include over 125 different herbs and botanicals, are available at MyPaleoPet and MyPaleoPet.com, our physical stores in Pompano Beach, Florida. We can sit down with you and guide you in the right direction, depending on what your body or what your pet's body actually needs to achieve a balance. Information is available on our podcast. We're going to be going into our 19th season here very shortly. And, you know, we started before there was anything called a podcast. It was internet radio. And you and I were right there. Everybody thought we were nuts. Nobody's ever going to listen to the internet. What are we watching this on now?

14 Exactly. But, yeah, the Penthouse Cafe is there, and it's widely distributable through your channels, YouTube, Spotify, and that. We do the live shows on Thursday nights, 8 o'clock. We encourage you to jump on there and share it with as many people as we can because this information is necessary. We've got to get this information out. Too many people and too many pets are dying and are sick and chronically ill and challenged, and that shouldn't be that way. We just have to make them healthier by doing the right thing. That's where the education that we put forward is coming from.

54 Let's help the pets on Pet Health Cafe. Let's help the pets on the Positively Pipe Man segment of the Adventures of Pipe Man W4CY radio. And let's roll it one. Thank you for listening to the Adventures of Pipe Man on W4CY radio.
