1:36 How the hell did you perform in this heat out there? I always, oh, my god, I've been living in Texas now for a few years and just taking in that Texas heat, drinking it up. Man, just getting darker and more acclimated into this heavy sun. You know. So people over here complaining, Bro, it's all it's ninety seven degrees. And that was a cold front in Texas last week. They're like, oh, this cold front. Come live in Florida. So I'm used to this, of course, but it's like, this isn't what California normally feels like. No, man, but we had a blast, man. You know, we just go up. They just do our thing. Man, you know what I'm saying, fire from the gods. We can't we can't perform in the heat, but we call ourselves that full ill know, right. I met him in Germany and I guess that was the first time he saw us, and he was like, dude, I loved it. Let me talk to you.

After the show, this dude gets off the stage, comes up and starts talking to me, and my friend hands me is business card, right white with blue writing Metallica power metal. There was thrash yet, for sure they were power metal for a minute, Dave Mustain business card, business card? Fucking rid you're talking? He was still a teenager then, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know. And I'm like, and people ask me, now do you still have it? I'm like, no, it was fifteen. I fucking what do I need this for?

I do this to continue to be at festivals like after Shop to so some way, some days someone's gonna have that story how I met aj. Yeah, I got this. You know, we used to have all those kind of things. So you know, I do it for that and I love that. Man. You want to hear another story that you just reminded me of. So I interviewed a dude recently that I was friends with back in the eighties. Was it the He led a band called Savage Grace.

5:14 Then they just came out with a new album. They were a thrash metal band in La Medal, and I was at all their shows. I rode ead for their shows. I was friends with them. But one show at the country club in Resida, I decided to get up on the stage, climb up on the Marshall stack yeah, and do a full swan into the crowd. Croud they moved. Damn my teeth. There is a bridge from that day because I knocked my teeth out. Fa I ended the gig, not because of what happened, like I hit the ground on that last note. Well that's a fucking rock moment, right. So you know I tell kids, my kids these type of stories. You know, your kids are probably like, yeah, sure, dad, you're full of shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want my kids to know that I was cool, you know, right, so, and I'd say to him, I'm a legend in l A. I'm known for that in l A. Well, thank you, brother, and so are you. I interview him.

6:15 It's the first time I talked to him since that night. Okay, today, I still remember. He absolutely fucking remembered. He was like, oh my god. In the interview, He's like, oh my god, like it was like somebody died at our show. I felt so bad and I always wondered what happened to you, and you know, if you're okay and all that, and then he went on to say, you are a legend in la You are the most traumatic thing that ever happened. Yeah, yeah, hell yeah. Sounds like I played that for my kids. My guy, you're cool, dude. You go to all the dopet shows and I still go into the pit. I just won't stage dive and I won't CrowdSurf because I don't trust it. I love everyone was David. I was getting a lot of crowdsurfing today and no stage dives because you know it's a h well yeah, yeah, help you stage dive.
