How are you yes of Exodus Man here at after Shock. It's like almost a hometown show, right for those guys. Yeah, I live in Arizona. Oh yeah, so it's a hike for you right. Yeah. So in the early eighties I lived in la and Slayer Metallica. I went to their first shows ever, and then they left us with all the other dumb bands, and so me and my bro used to hitchhike up to the Bay Area just to go to your guys shows.

0:59 Well, I you weren't here in New York. Yeah, I was going to shows in New York. Nice. Yeah, who did you see in New York? Because I'm also ever in New Jersey. I saw everybody. If you played there, I saw you. We had multiple clubs. We had the Scrap Bar, we had CBS, we had streets Over a Newer show. We had Lamoor's in Brooklyn. We had Manhattan, which Manhattan's was in Rockland County, and that's where I went to high school. Because I'm out of Queen's and I moved up to Rockland and Manhattan's was a cool club that bands would roll through, So yeah, man, and then. Yeah, yeah, some of my favorite shows were at Lamor's. That was a cool ass club, man. Yeah. So how does it feel to be back in Exodus after all this time?

1:39 It's good, man, it's been good. It's been fun, dude. We worked our ass off on this record. It's the best thing I've done to date. I know, everybody, every. Musicians all my new album is the best. But it's the best thing I've ever done. And if you don't think it's the best, how was anybody else? Yeah? I mean even if it wasn't, I would still say it, right. I mean, like all, even if I thought it was shit, I'd be like, oh, it's the best album. But truly, man, this is fucking killer. I mean, it's just it's fucking epic because it's so different and there's so many different fucking directions that it went in and they let me just do my thing. Man, it was fucking killer. See. Now that's cool after all these years, Like having a band that lets everybody else have some creative control of their own. That's the way it should be. Yeah, because you're an artist, you should be able to express yourself. Yeah, man, yeah, So what do you think you bring to the table to the new album and the new great shut live shows.

2:36 Well, I got like four or five different voices I can sing in, you know what I mean. I got to use a clean I got to use a fucking monster fucking growl. I got to use my mid range, my high range, and I was just like all. Over the place. It wasn't I've never thought I was a one trick pony. I always thought that I could do more stuff. But thrash metal is very kind of limiting, and it's easy to go over the cliff and going to a realm that's like, uh oh, but right, we didn't do any of that, man, we didn't do that. It's heavy and dark and fast and fucking it's just great. Man. There's some motorheady rock and roll shits. It's fucking good man. So that's where this new one is, man, and this fucking killer.

3:18 So what do you think of this? I like it, man, I too, I like it. So this has been, as you can tell, probably through some wars. Yeah, look at that fucking a. Yeah, you've had some old school shit right there, right Like these kids nowadays they buy pre made one. I put all my blunt swim to this layer. Didn't even have a patch when I did this, so I did that instead. Yeah. I never rocked one of these ever. Really, No, man, I wore like in the eighties. I was wearing the Nike high tops and a black leather jacket and I just wore band shirts and but I never rocked a vest. Yeah yeah, bye. I had the leather, but add this obviously over to leather, and that tells you how scrawny I was then. Because this will never fit me. Yeah.

4:06 I've been riding motorcycles my whole life and I still never have one. I don't own one. I have a somebody gave me a leather one and it's hanging. I've never it's in my closet. I've never used it. I have a Harley. But I also I like racing, so I have real fast bikes, so I have like a full race suits and all that. So nice. Tell me about the racing. I just I love fucking racing cars bikes. I fucking love speed and going fast. And I race in Class eleven, which is off road racing in California and Arizona. And it's an off road Volkswagen. And I have a oh like a Baja. No, it's a Beetle, but it's a Class eleven. Is a stock Beetle with just a roll cage and bigger tires and all that. But you got to keep it stock. But I have a fast one too. I have a street bug.

4:47 I have a Porsche an old fifty five spider that I love nice. I'm trying to build that for the track. So that's my next build. When I finish my bug. I'm building a bug right now. That's like a fully customed street rod, turbocharge, super loud, obnoxious, but it's a it's fucking cool. And when I finished that, then I'm gonna move on to the porch. I picked up the porchl about a year ago, and uh yeah, so it's a poor spider. It's not a it's not a I wanted a three D six, but I found a spider, so I bought that. I was like, that's what I want. Very cool. How about your bikes, how many bikes do you have? I got three. I have an RC fifty one, which is a Honda between Moto GP bike I have a FJR thirteen hundred, which is a sport tour for like real long distance stuff with GPS and heat of seats and all that.

5:33 And I have a seven wide glide really yeah. I see. I like a lot of Harley's, but I like Indians. Man, those are cool. Yeah. Yeah, mine's like a child. It's a chopper. It's around town bike. I've I've tried taking a long distance and it beats the shit out of here my body. So right, it must I was gonna say, it must be tough taking a long ride like it. Yeah. I just did a three hundred mile ride and it was pretty rough. Yeah. But yeah, So did you ever go down to southern California go to a rock store. I've been that. I've ridden a motorcycle across the country and never taken in the same route. Eight times I've taken it. I've done some massive motorcycle trips. I did one that was in two thousand and seven. I went fifteen thousand miles in six weeks. Wow, all four corners of the United States and all the national parks, all the way up the coast from Tijuana all the way to Vancouver, and then across all the way back to Maine, down to Florida, all the way down.

6:28 You know. So I've been. I've been all over. Man, I've done it. I've done it multiple times. See my hat's off to you because I rode a bike, but not like that. But I've road trip to the country several times in a car and I think to myself, Man, you gotta be pretty bad ass to ride a bike through this whole country because that it's almost like some work. Well, yeah, you go through every weather pattern, you go through every situational thing you could come across on a bike when you ride across the country. I mean I usually took back roads and I found, like I would talk to people before online they even at books on where you should go, where you should stay, what roads are cool. And there's a bunch of roads in the States that are that only motorcycle guys know about, you know what I mean. And you got the Dragon on the east coast in Tennessee one twenty nine, you got Beartooth Pass. And on the west coast you have the entire coast to California from La all the way up to Vancouver is just a badass road over and there's not a lot of snow, so the roads stay pristine and it's cool for riding. And yeah, man, and the Southwest is I move there because it's so fun to ride a motorcycle there. I can ride a year round. Yeah, I ride year round, you know what I mean. And I have I ride my motorcycle as much as I can.

7:43 Yeah. I would be thinking, like the paint the desert has to be so freaking awesome on a bike. It is, man, it's awesome. Man. I do it pretty much every weekend in the winter. Man. During the summer, I don't ride too much because it's too fucking hot. But yeah, you know, when it's anything over one hundred, I'm not riding. But I will ride at night, you know what I mean. If I'm just gonna go to the bar something to hang out and me and my friends or something, I'll ride the bike at night, but not during the day. It's too hot. Yeah, I hear you. And I live in South Florida, so that's kind of right. Why I stopped Ryan because it was way too hot all the time. We have hot and hotter. Yeah. Yeah, And so what's your favorite show you guys have played this year? This year Hamburg, Germany.

8:25 We played it a few months ago and it was just one of those fucking awesome killer nights. All the big vessels we did Finland, Hellfest was great. Finland was great, Barcelona was great. I mean just all the shows. But some of the club shows were just fucking insane, and it was it was a lot of It. Was a great tour. Yeah, club shows are always badass. Yeah, but I gotta say I was covering Hellfest and I was at I actually started the pit during your show, like, and I filmed like the whole time in the Pale Santa like my bro and stuff. I'm like, man, check out this pit Exodus. You're at Health s and man, it was like, I've gone to a bunch of your guys shows and it was I think one of my favorite shows you guys ever did. It was so bad ass.

Fucking couldn't sing with sunglasses on because it kept falling off. So but it was yeah, yeah, nice. Well I'm looking forward to you here it after shop.
