I love how y'all guys all say it too like

8
00:00:37.640 --> 00:00:42.640
it's great. It shows all your different influences into your music. Yeah,

9
00:00:42.799 --> 00:00:46.799
just by that, just that, just that tells me everything.

10
00:00:47.240 --> 00:00:48.399
We don't even have to do the rest.

11
00:00:48.439 --> 00:00:49.159
We loved your name.

12
00:00:49.320 --> 00:00:51.200
We were looking at our emails and it said the

13
00:00:51.240 --> 00:00:52.719
pipe Man. I was like, dude, we gotta go give

14
00:00:52.759 --> 00:00:54.520
this guy the pipe right right.

15
00:00:55.159 --> 00:00:58.039
See now you have to have my logo on your neck, okay,

16
00:00:58.439 --> 00:00:59.600
right above the mic.

17
00:00:59.759 --> 00:01:02.280
That's I actually be on your head, right above the bike.

18
00:01:02.439 --> 00:01:03.079
I'll tell you what.

19
00:01:03.119 --> 00:01:05.120
The next the next ink you can come to if

20
00:01:05.200 --> 00:01:07.200
you get us, you get to come announce us on stage.

21
00:01:07.280 --> 00:01:09.799
I'll get it. I'll get a pipe man tattoo and I'll.

22
00:01:09.560 --> 00:01:11.400
Do it all right, He'll have the mic man and

23
00:01:11.400 --> 00:01:12.079
then the pipe Man.

24
00:01:12.519 --> 00:01:13.439
Yeah, I love it.

25
00:01:13.760 --> 00:01:14.200
Pipe Man.

26
00:01:14.280 --> 00:01:17.560
You guys are on it, and I do want to

27
00:01:17.560 --> 00:01:20.719
talk about your mic. Yeah, but how do you talk

28
00:01:20.760 --> 00:01:23.159
into that mic if it's going up to your brain.

29
00:01:23.239 --> 00:01:26.040
So I constantly think to myself, so it gets it

30
00:01:26.079 --> 00:01:28.280
in here, right, Yeah, I got like there's like thirty

31
00:01:28.319 --> 00:01:28.840
four people.

32
00:01:28.879 --> 00:01:31.159
There's at least thirty four people that live up here.

33
00:01:31.599 --> 00:01:34.159
So is that all? Oh yeah, I have more than that.

34
00:01:34.319 --> 00:01:36.359
Oh I couldn't take it now.

35
00:01:36.480 --> 00:01:40.519
But so this is like basically a symbolization of that

36
00:01:41.079 --> 00:01:42.840
I stopped doing drugs a long time ago. So I

37
00:01:42.840 --> 00:01:46.120
got an intro. I got like intravenious needle going down.

38
00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:49.400
Like, oh right, that's cool.

39
00:01:49.519 --> 00:01:53.040
Yeah he just came up with that on the spot, of.

40
00:01:52.959 --> 00:01:53.560
Course he did.

41
00:01:53.879 --> 00:01:56.760
Yeah, but that's what makes it great. So I also

42
00:01:56.959 --> 00:02:00.519
love your guys' shirts. Like, so I heard you guys

43
00:02:00.519 --> 00:02:03.319
talking a little bit before I was here at Burban Beyond,

44
00:02:03.640 --> 00:02:05.480
and I think you guys were here too, because this

45
00:02:05.599 --> 00:02:07.879
is what you guys did when you played Bourbon Beyond

46
00:02:07.959 --> 00:02:11.599
last week. Okay, I gotta find it, but uh well,

47
00:02:11.879 --> 00:02:14.960
we'll talk about But I love how it says country heavy, so.

48
00:02:15.000 --> 00:02:17.039
You definitely belong at Bourban Beyond.

49
00:02:17.520 --> 00:02:21.840
Okay, you could have been like right before fish.

50
00:02:21.360 --> 00:02:23.159
Yeah, dude, could you imagine?

51
00:02:23.360 --> 00:02:25.719
I feel like it worked really well.

52
00:02:25.120 --> 00:02:28.759
Yeah, it was so funny because I was out there

53
00:02:28.759 --> 00:02:31.560
at Fish I was like, I was telling my bros,

54
00:02:31.599 --> 00:02:34.759
I want to start moshpit and they're like, yeah no.

55
00:02:34.879 --> 00:02:38.120
And then I'm looking at everybody tripping on acid and shrooms.

56
00:02:38.159 --> 00:02:40.879
I'm like, they look like they're in moshpit, but just

57
00:02:40.919 --> 00:02:42.120
not touching each.

58
00:02:41.919 --> 00:02:50.080
Other, non contact mashing right right, flagmshing, They're just grabbing

59
00:02:50.120 --> 00:02:51.039
flags from each other.

60
00:02:51.199 --> 00:02:56.280
Oh, so this is what happens when you put your

61
00:02:56.400 --> 00:02:58.360
band on Bourbon beyond.

62
00:02:58.879 --> 00:03:01.800
Oh my, that's that Ferris wheel over there.

63
00:03:02.159 --> 00:03:05.479
Oh yeah, actually we should just play on that.

64
00:03:05.719 --> 00:03:09.000
Yeah, that's what you. I want a band to do that.

65
00:03:09.319 --> 00:03:12.960
There's just behind our stage that you could get on

66
00:03:13.039 --> 00:03:15.039
with your bass while we're playing.

67
00:03:15.240 --> 00:03:20.680
I swear to God, right right, say that into the mic, I.

68
00:03:20.639 --> 00:03:23.159
Said, think it's a whole new meaning of ride the lightning.

69
00:03:24.240 --> 00:03:27.000
That should have been during a Metallica sept for sure.

70
00:03:27.120 --> 00:03:27.599
Yeah.

71
00:03:27.639 --> 00:03:30.960
Okay, So, speaking of which, what do you think of

72
00:03:31.080 --> 00:03:32.960
my eighties battle vest.

73
00:03:33.240 --> 00:03:36.919
That's from the eighties, so killing it.

74
00:03:36.560 --> 00:03:39.680
So much so that Slayer didn't even have a patch yet.

75
00:03:39.719 --> 00:03:45.639
So I just did that. It's almost like, but oh

76
00:03:45.680 --> 00:03:46.960
it's mine from the eighties.

77
00:03:47.240 --> 00:03:47.479
Yeah.

78
00:03:47.639 --> 00:03:50.439
I was at slayers first show ever. Metallica's first show ever.

79
00:03:50.800 --> 00:03:53.280
That was probably after the first Slayers show.

80
00:03:53.319 --> 00:03:55.080
So do you have another one or is this just

81
00:03:55.159 --> 00:03:56.840
your squeeze?

82
00:03:56.919 --> 00:03:59.960
I don't use it anymore. I use it now for interviews.

83
00:04:00.199 --> 00:04:03.479
Actually, I had in my closet for like many many years,

84
00:04:03.520 --> 00:04:05.919
and then I pulled it out for my grandson. Yeah,

85
00:04:05.960 --> 00:04:10.599
and I'm like, good idea to bring this thing to interviews. Yeah,

86
00:04:10.879 --> 00:04:13.840
talking point because listen, you can tell I've been in

87
00:04:13.879 --> 00:04:14.879
a few pits.

88
00:04:15.120 --> 00:04:17.360
It's been way a battle vest for sure.

89
00:04:18.800 --> 00:04:23.040
Right, this one used to be amazing, and I have

90
00:04:23.079 --> 00:04:26.040
blood on here, what speak of doing stupid ship like

91
00:04:26.319 --> 00:04:27.720
going on a ride or something.

92
00:04:29.480 --> 00:04:31.759
They're gonna be an aftershock, no way. Yeah.

93
00:04:31.800 --> 00:04:33.959
But they're calling it like a tribute because it's not

94
00:04:34.079 --> 00:04:38.279
Billie Belando, but it's scott Ian, it is Danny Loker,

95
00:04:39.279 --> 00:04:41.639
it's Scott's son played drums who played.

96
00:04:42.000 --> 00:04:43.920
That's gonna be a that's gonna be a really good

97
00:04:43.920 --> 00:04:48.199
tribute then, and it's a Tribune quote unquote from Atpriy

98
00:04:48.600 --> 00:04:49.879
is singing, Oh.

99
00:04:49.759 --> 00:04:52.639
Jimmy Jo, Yeah, that's crazy. Let's have the same.

100
00:04:53.319 --> 00:04:53.959
I can't wait.

101
00:04:54.000 --> 00:04:55.439
That's gonna be awesome actually.

102
00:04:55.399 --> 00:04:58.519
Because really, s O D should be canceled in twenty

103
00:04:58.639 --> 00:04:59.160
twenty five.

104
00:04:59.319 --> 00:05:03.240
No oh no, no, we don't need to talk about that,

105
00:05:03.839 --> 00:05:06.079
you know it that day. No, they wouldn't, They would

106
00:05:06.240 --> 00:05:09.759
not fly these days probably, But it was just said.

107
00:05:09.639 --> 00:05:13.160
It is funny that when mister Bungle plays, speak English

108
00:05:13.279 --> 00:05:15.439
or die, yeah, but when they do it in the States,

109
00:05:15.439 --> 00:05:17.800
they're like, speak Spanish or die yep. But then I

110
00:05:17.839 --> 00:05:21.160
saw that grasp pop and they were like, speak Flemish or.

111
00:05:21.199 --> 00:05:23.360
Die, speak Flemisher Die. It's amazing. That's such a Mike

112
00:05:23.399 --> 00:05:24.079
Patton thing to do.

113
00:05:24.199 --> 00:05:28.720
I know, right, So what brought you to Louder than Life?

114
00:05:28.839 --> 00:05:31.040
Not your tour bus or your band or anything, but

115
00:05:31.199 --> 00:05:32.879
how do we get here? How do you end up

116
00:05:32.920 --> 00:05:33.839
at lowerd than Life?

117
00:05:33.920 --> 00:05:36.000
I will look give that's a mikey for that one.

118
00:05:36.839 --> 00:05:41.759
Okay, So all right, so we were there.

119
00:05:42.360 --> 00:05:45.759
I was just sitting there on my couch actually, and

120
00:05:45.839 --> 00:05:48.959
then oh, I was doing agent work and then I

121
00:05:49.000 --> 00:05:52.800
saw this. I saw this, Oh, like stages, this new

122
00:05:52.879 --> 00:05:54.800
the new stage was getting added. I was like, there's

123
00:05:54.839 --> 00:05:57.160
more bands coming out, and I was like, I'm gonna

124
00:05:57.160 --> 00:05:59.519
fucking get a hold of John right. And then not

125
00:05:59.600 --> 00:06:02.879
even twenty minutes later, dude, not only Twenty minutes later,

126
00:06:03.160 --> 00:06:05.120
dude calls me and he's like, Yo.

127
00:06:05.079 --> 00:06:05.519
What's up.

128
00:06:05.680 --> 00:06:07.319
And I was like, hey, man, I was just gonna

129
00:06:07.360 --> 00:06:09.040
call you and he's like, oh, I got you.

130
00:06:09.040 --> 00:06:10.120
You guys want to play louder.

131
00:06:10.439 --> 00:06:13.800
I'm like right, He's like yeah, and he's like, dude,

132
00:06:13.839 --> 00:06:14.800
I'm excited to call you.

133
00:06:14.839 --> 00:06:15.959
Guys I've seen him.

134
00:06:16.000 --> 00:06:18.279
And he was like, dude, because I was I do

135
00:06:18.360 --> 00:06:21.160
agent stuff and I was talking talking about getting some

136
00:06:21.199 --> 00:06:24.439
of my bands on or whatever, and I was like,

137
00:06:24.519 --> 00:06:26.120
not even conflict with the interest, man, I'd love to

138
00:06:26.120 --> 00:06:27.720
give these guys some opportunities, you know.

139
00:06:27.720 --> 00:06:28.040
What I mean.

140
00:06:28.040 --> 00:06:29.959
I'm not even worried about fight. And he's like, but

141
00:06:30.040 --> 00:06:30.920
I like fight.

142
00:06:32.279 --> 00:06:32.680
Nice.

143
00:06:34.040 --> 00:06:37.000
I also want to talk about this song that I

144
00:06:37.360 --> 00:06:42.480
fucking absolutely love Full Send. Okay, oh my god, that's

145
00:06:42.560 --> 00:06:43.720
such a badass song.

146
00:06:43.800 --> 00:06:45.639
Now, how did that clab happen?

147
00:06:46.560 --> 00:06:51.040
So we wrote that with It was me, David and

148
00:06:51.120 --> 00:06:55.040
Patty and Pablo Vivos. There is a song by a

149
00:06:55.079 --> 00:06:58.360
band called Distinguisher that just started off with this sick

150
00:06:58.560 --> 00:07:00.879
two step that we were all listening too, and we

151
00:07:00.920 --> 00:07:02.439
were like, we got to write a song that just

152
00:07:02.480 --> 00:07:04.680
goes right into a two step and doesn't stop, right,

153
00:07:04.959 --> 00:07:06.920
So that's what we did. We came up with it

154
00:07:07.000 --> 00:07:09.519
and then me and him and him just went upstairs

155
00:07:09.560 --> 00:07:13.160
for like two or three hours just wrote ridiculous lyrics.

156
00:07:13.199 --> 00:07:17.720
By the way, also dead defall the song Major Rager.

157
00:07:18.360 --> 00:07:21.519
Oh and Decayne Decayne with the Boys by Eaton.

158
00:07:23.040 --> 00:07:24.560
I was actually writing a party song with my other

159
00:07:24.639 --> 00:07:26.680
band at the time, without Gravity, and I was like,

160
00:07:26.680 --> 00:07:27.399
oh man, let's do.

161
00:07:27.399 --> 00:07:29.720
Like a song which is like chug chug chug.

162
00:07:30.160 --> 00:07:32.480
And the whole song was just born, like Mikey said,

163
00:07:32.480 --> 00:07:34.959
in like two hours, and it just went really quickly.

164
00:07:35.000 --> 00:07:36.800
It was amazing, very organic process.

165
00:07:37.240 --> 00:07:39.519
I love it. Go ahead.

166
00:07:39.639 --> 00:07:42.040
It was the first song that we did. We made

167
00:07:42.040 --> 00:07:45.000
it super fast. We re released it d I Y

168
00:07:45.199 --> 00:07:46.360
and got hit an editorial.

169
00:07:46.560 --> 00:07:49.399
It was wild. It was our first editorial we ever had.

170
00:07:50.720 --> 00:07:53.319
Are you Are you asking about the new version that

171
00:07:53.360 --> 00:07:56.120
we did the collab with Saving Advice where we switched

172
00:07:56.120 --> 00:07:58.600
it when we did the vocal cover of each song. Yeah, okay,

173
00:07:58.639 --> 00:08:01.160
that's because you said how the colab had right, yes,

174
00:08:01.319 --> 00:08:02.240
oh yeah, so.

175
00:08:02.160 --> 00:08:03.800
You could go all that other information.

176
00:08:03.920 --> 00:08:05.879
It's good good too, right right right? Yeah?

177
00:08:06.000 --> 00:08:09.279
Yeah, So the collab Saving Vice or our Homies and

178
00:08:09.800 --> 00:08:12.279
we did their song Trauma Suba and they did Full Send.

179
00:08:13.279 --> 00:08:15.680
And it's just like honestly artists in general.

180
00:08:15.720 --> 00:08:17.600
Man, if you think about it, if you're an artist

181
00:08:17.600 --> 00:08:21.040
and you have thirty thousand listeners and your friends had

182
00:08:21.120 --> 00:08:23.920
forty thousand listeners, well, if you collab on a song

183
00:08:23.959 --> 00:08:26.639
and drop it at the same time on both your platforms,

184
00:08:27.160 --> 00:08:28.639
well it's basically cheating, man.

185
00:08:28.680 --> 00:08:29.160
You know what I mean.

186
00:08:29.160 --> 00:08:31.720
You're not only is it going to all your guys,

187
00:08:32.000 --> 00:08:34.799
it's going to all their guys. So all the streams

188
00:08:34.799 --> 00:08:37.919
you're getting are coming to both of you, not just

189
00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:38.639
one side.

190
00:08:38.759 --> 00:08:39.120
Right.

191
00:08:39.320 --> 00:08:43.879
In our case, we did two songs where they both

192
00:08:43.919 --> 00:08:46.919
came to both of us and within the first five

193
00:08:47.039 --> 00:08:50.200
days we were at like fifteen thousand streams before.

194
00:08:50.279 --> 00:08:52.919
Between both songs. I love it, and then one of

195
00:08:52.960 --> 00:08:55.120
them actually hit an editorial.

196
00:08:54.679 --> 00:08:58.240
Too, Oh I love it. I gotta tell you something.

197
00:08:58.080 --> 00:08:59.720
First did it was the one we did.

198
00:09:00.039 --> 00:09:01.559
I got about your vape here?

199
00:09:02.519 --> 00:09:04.919
It was the one we did. Robbie, are you.

200
00:09:04.919 --> 00:09:08.120
Giving me flashbacks of Bourbon Beyond right here? And the

201
00:09:08.159 --> 00:09:11.600
Fish show on the vape as the most psychedelic vape

202
00:09:11.639 --> 00:09:14.679
I've ever seen? You should like put that in your

203
00:09:14.799 --> 00:09:17.879
light show of your live show here at Louder than Life.

204
00:09:17.960 --> 00:09:21.279
To be honest with you, I'm actually about done smoking vapes.

205
00:09:21.519 --> 00:09:22.639
I'm I think five.

206
00:09:22.480 --> 00:09:24.679
Years cigarette free good for you.

207
00:09:24.919 --> 00:09:28.639
And I went a year without smoking anything and then no,

208
00:09:29.120 --> 00:09:31.200
and then I was going through something and I was like,

209
00:09:31.200 --> 00:09:33.000
I'm gonna go smoke. I almost bought a peg of

210
00:09:33.000 --> 00:09:34.720
cigarettes and I'm like, Noah, so I grabbed the vape

211
00:09:34.919 --> 00:09:36.600
and then smoking them. But I'm almost done with these

212
00:09:36.600 --> 00:09:37.759
anyways too, because.

213
00:09:38.480 --> 00:09:39.320
It's pretty gross.

214
00:09:39.399 --> 00:09:42.120
I think the words I was a Marlboro Red smoker

215
00:09:42.159 --> 00:09:44.360
for thirty six years and nose make me choke.

216
00:09:44.600 --> 00:09:47.200
I'm not. I'm not even gonna lie the vabe thing.

217
00:09:47.240 --> 00:09:52.919
Man, I smoked cigarettes from fourteen years old to twenty five,

218
00:09:53.879 --> 00:09:57.480
and from Newports to Cowboy Killers, and as soon as

219
00:09:57.519 --> 00:10:00.919
I switched to that I could breathe better, I run farther.

220
00:10:02.080 --> 00:10:05.120
So the thing about it is that I think logistically,

221
00:10:05.240 --> 00:10:07.120
right off the bat, they're better for you. But the

222
00:10:07.200 --> 00:10:09.919
problem with vapes is that they're super easy to become

223
00:10:10.200 --> 00:10:14.320
extremely violently addicted to, so much so that like my girlfriend,

224
00:10:14.440 --> 00:10:15.799
she wakes up in the middle of the night, she's

225
00:10:15.840 --> 00:10:18.000
not even half She's like half asleep, she hits her

226
00:10:18.039 --> 00:10:22.200
vape and she falls asleep again, just lets it fall exhales.

227
00:10:22.240 --> 00:10:24.159
That's how insanely addicted you can get to vapes because

228
00:10:24.200 --> 00:10:26.879
you do it anywhere you want, anytime you want. It's

229
00:10:27.000 --> 00:10:32.000
just like logistically is yeah, yeah, yes, exactly, the flavors

230
00:10:32.000 --> 00:10:32.360
and stuff.

231
00:10:32.639 --> 00:10:33.200
That's true too.

232
00:10:33.240 --> 00:10:35.440
You don't even really know how good they are for you.

233
00:10:35.440 --> 00:10:36.879
You're technically you're still Yeah.

234
00:10:37.840 --> 00:10:39.279
I'm still doing this and I croak.

235
00:10:39.360 --> 00:10:40.440
I don't care there.

236
00:10:40.480 --> 00:10:42.799
Yeah, I mean I think there's there's positives and negatives

237
00:10:42.840 --> 00:10:45.399
to both. I smoke cigarettes and I vape.

238
00:10:45.600 --> 00:10:46.279
So I'm done.

239
00:10:46.879 --> 00:10:49.840
There die right, So I'm done.

240
00:10:49.919 --> 00:10:51.919
And I love that you have a New York Mets

241
00:10:52.039 --> 00:10:56.600
Bucky shirt. That's what it looks like a buster. See

242
00:10:56.600 --> 00:10:59.480
I didn't see the bomb part, but it looks like

243
00:10:59.559 --> 00:11:02.000
it's buff BUCkies.

244
00:11:02.200 --> 00:11:04.559
Yeah, yeah, we're all big BUCkies.

245
00:11:04.799 --> 00:11:07.480
Look, you guys do a show at BUCkies.

246
00:11:07.919 --> 00:11:09.480
Well like silly silly goose.

247
00:11:09.840 --> 00:11:10.639
Yeah, there you go.

248
00:11:10.720 --> 00:11:11.639
I love those guys.

249
00:11:11.639 --> 00:11:14.440
Oh yeah, I was wearing a shirt with Jackson slug

250
00:11:14.519 --> 00:11:15.320
shot the other day.

251
00:11:15.360 --> 00:11:15.960
I think I was.

252
00:11:17.759 --> 00:11:18.120
