I'm feeling it, guys, it's yeah, lots of lots of nice people, lots of excitement, lots of sights to take in, and most of all, just a great every Everyone is like really welcoming. It's a great attitude. It's so uplifting. I love it. It's definitely a community. Yeah, it's a bubble of freedom, right exactly, Like this is where everybody could just be themselves and screw the rest of their rules in the world that are stupid. Right, So, you guys won the Juno's. That's pretty badass.

I don't know us because you're awesome because you got a great freaking message, and I could tell oh yeah, yeah, probably win win a Grammy because we're idiots here, just because in the name of the album, the idiots here in my country would probably be weird. See that's why I love about Canada too, because I have a lot of friends there, and I think Canada it's more of that freeing, being yourself thing that we protract that we're supposed to be.

3:28 Yeah, we definitely feel a little bit more. I don't know, it's changing every day, it's getting It's not as like free maybe as it used to be. But I think definitely in comparison to you know, the States, like there is a little bit more of that ease of expressing ourselves without fearing for our lives. And so I think like that that album allowed us to do that, allowed you guys to do that, and now we just continue to spread it. So yeah, I don't want to say like a disease, but you can. You can say whatever you want. But no, I mean, listen, the fact that matter is is in twenty twenty five, anybody should be able to say whatever they want as long as they're not hurting anybody intentionally. And like, we have a lot of hang ups here that you guys don't have. That's why I found from friends of mine they're a Canadian it's like the same hang ups we have and it's kind of ridiculous. It reminds me of back in the eighties when we add hang ups about what genre music you could play. You know, like I was a long hair I couldn't go to a punk show.

That's what's cool about punk rock Bowling, Like we have this just big community here and even yesterday like power Trip played they're metal, they're not punk, and the place went crazy for it. That proves that artists like you and everybody else here in pump Rock Boweling are making a difference and that's the key. So how this all start for you guys, that's question I know, right, I mean. With the dream and some hard work and here we are today. That's all it takes sometimes, right determination You guys have that persistence, especially in this business. Yeah, So do you still like pinch yourself that you're playing punk rock bowling winning a juno and just like your message is being taken by so many people out there? You know.

5:36 I just feel like everybody's like just so in their own lives and you take it day by day because there's nothing's guaranteed, so every opportunity is a good one and you. Just absolutely for the best. That's so what you guys got going on from here? After punk rock bowling, how are you going to top this? Or heading out on tour for a month across all the most of the states, a lot of the states. I love the name of your tour, by the way. I think every band should have that tour name once in their career. You know, go for broke tour because you definitely it's really expensive. Yes, that's all I was gonna say. It definitely describes touring. Like people listening to show, they think like, oh, you're going on tour, that's the life, it's the dream life. And boy, aren't you lucky, But they don't know what goes on every single day to get that lucky stuff. Tell them what goes on. Tell them what it's like to do this and go for broke.

6:39 I mean, you got to book some hotel, but some good ones if you don't want to sleep on the floor every day. And yeah, being events with everything, I don't know, like it's just hard. Cat with her, I was saying, tell us what it's like, you know, being on tour. Not the stuff that people think like, hey, that's the dream life, but the stuff you have to go through. Yeah, you have to you have to be responsible, you have to be sober, you have to wake up every day, you have to care a lot about everything all the time. It's like, it's just it's not it's not a it's just really hard. I'm so like, so I'm so sorry. I'm just really hard. I know it's a little hotter than right. Well, you know, and the fact that the matter is as you're right, it's like it takes real dedication, which means you guys are true musicians because you're not doing it for the capitalist reason. You know, you're doing it because of the love of music.

7:39 I don't know, I feel like we've all been doing this long enough that we feel like the idea of I mean, obviously, you know, if we can make money doing something we love, that's beautiful and that would be exciting. But I think if you go into it with that mentality, you're not going to be able to do a lot of the fun stuff that you set out to do. So you kind of have to set that expectation that it's more about the experience and playing with people that you like and going to cities and playing four people and if you make money, great, But it's not like the be all and end all, and we're all putting, you know, our lives on hold to like do this tour and and you know, it's three weeks of spending time together in his little bubble, but it's worth it at the end of the day. Huge risk, but it's worth it.

8:21 It's I've been playing music since I was eleven years old. This is like a dream come true. Nice this kind of stuff. You got to take risk in your. Life, no doubt. That's why I love about you guys too, because I'm all about taking risks. No risk, no reward. You can't make it unless you're risking it. And you guys are risking at all. And look, you want a Juno, So it was worth it. I guess that's the reward. I know, right, it's so awesome. I'm serious. And it's the reward of playing in fricking this ungodly heat at one of the best festivals there is. Oh, been here in Las Vegas? Whoa right? This is July? Oh you don't want to be here in July imagine this is probably the cooler time.

9:12 Okay, it's not humid like it is in Montreal, so that's kind of nice. Yeah. I live in Florida where it's like this hot but a million percent humidity. This is we're not getting that here a million. Totally. It is like it's brutal summer. We hibernate during summer there. I like when I lived in New York and New Jersey, where you hibernate in the winter at Siapposite, I'm like, please bring me winter. Yeah, we're just coming. Out of winter in a cold spring. So this is we're just coming out of winter in Montreal, in Quebec and Ontario, and the spring has been like a little bit cool too, So this is actually really nice. I'm happy to be in shorts outside.

I don't really care the beliefs because I'm from Toronto, but I don't hear good things.

But I do love what you said before too about having to be sober, because I think that's why musicians are better nowadays, because there's so many that are being straight edge, whereas in the eighties not so much as we're.
