1:31 How does it feel? Well? Two things? One, I thought it was not in Florida. Apparently I was wrong. France wins hands. Down as far as healthest How does it feel to be playing one of the most amazing festivals all and of all of Europe. How's your experience been here? Well, so far, it's been amazing. You see this festival every year and you imagine what it would like to be here just as a fan, and you watched the. Bill that would come up, and they see each. Night as four bands that could headline any other festival on the planet, and not that we had known a. Year ago from now. We really didn't know South's House was gonna be playing, and it's like we it always hoped, but it wasn't a reality.

2:14 So when you saw this festival, you just would say, it. Be actually fun to go there. And now it'll be here and be playing. It is. It's a real great feeling and we can't wait to see what it's gonna be like a couple of hours now. I think the facts we're playing any festival and it is pretty amazing right now. So I'm never lining. But I was able to walk around these grounds today and this place is awesome. It is set up so well. I can't believe how big it is, how cool it is. Everybody seems to be having a great time, and then yes, it's it's wicked hop here. So we're gonna have a good show later. But heap beside, we're gonna we're gonna be awesome. What's up like for you to be playing those. Killer Leaguescular Balladay, he still played up and let's gay as well. First of all, Chris Oliva remarkable talent, amazing guitar player. I never had to prove what you're meeting him, but to study his work is one of the highlights of my musical life. Now, as far as it's all of those, we have a deal, Chris Caffrey. I'm gonna use the words not stupid. But you were brother na Chris Oliva, and you're in the band with Denaturing, So he is responsible for the amazing, daunting taskmer for trying to replicate Chris Olivia's work, So.

3:41 I'm gonna give him more props on that one. Yeah, my job during when. We're playing those songs is to try to replicate his rhythm guitar playing and John Oliver's rhythm guitar playing very unique, very very difficult because John Oliva played left handed outside down. Yeah, so when you're trying to actually play a hand for ring correctly, it's not as easy as it seems. Yeah, And you know, as a rhythm and talk part, that's eighty percent of my job is to make a foundation for the singer to have a real solid. Platforms to deliver the song. You know, it's all about serving the song these days. But studying christ Leave's work has been just absolutely fantastic. Hi guys, I'm Neil from Top for Rook in the UK.

4:22 There's been talk of new material from Sabosage. What can he sus. We got a lot of songs as a can right now, a lot of demo is. John's been cranking them out. There is a lot of material. There's more material coming. We do plan on doing another album, but we don't have a timeline on it right now. Our focus is to get out and play. Live, kind of get back into the saddle, so to speak, and that's what we're doing where we So far, the tour has been great, a lot of fans, a lot of happy faces, a lot of people singing along. So that's where our focus is now. We do have some big in the works, but there's no solid time or date.

5:03 When it's going to come out. And Lisa kids me. Hi guys, I'm a Lisa from the Road to Rock in the UK. It's lovely to have you over. Thank you for coming. You guys have such a great history behind you. How have you found the music scene changing. Over the years, and what is the secrets of still being here, still going. Afure this time? I think the secret is the music itself. You know, what Paul and John and Chris Leeber created years ago is something that's truly unique, even when they were a four piece metal band, nobody solid like seven when Paulinio came aboard, and between his lyrics and his production ideas and adding orchestration and the concepts of this and in it, regardless of what has happened in the music scene, in the metal scene, whatever scene, Sabotage is kind of maintained its own thing. And I think that is really what's helped bring us back right now. That music is just so unique and so true to itself. I can't get over talking about Paul's lyrics because they connect with so many people on so many different levels. We hear all the time about you know, the song the leave Saved my Life, etc.

6:22 Et cetera. You know, we hear that almost every showf from several people. So there's something really really natural about about those guys great years ago, and you know, as far as us sitting up here, we're all just so fortunate to be part of that. In carrying this on. The band has gone through a lot of changes over the years, but one thing that has been true is the music is the lyrics and meeting behind it, and that's why we're here today and we just carry this on it. I have another quick question for you. You may if you have a walked around the side seeing the enormous statue of a lem me. Yeah, I'm sure everybody has a lending store.

7:04 Are you prepared to tell us your lemmings? Early well, I had the opportunity. We were playing I Think of. His Mind Never Matter in Austria in two thousand and one and Uh I walked, I looked on the side of the stage and Johnny's one of his first years out of the sabotage. The band had toured with Motorhead on the uh Hit tour. That was his first one but that he had he had done with the band and they loved watching for Silva and phil and and Lemmy came up to me after the show and they said. Look, we've watched you playing and there's a ghost in you.

7:45 And they said there's only been eleven people in the past that I've ever played on stage at Motorhead. We'd be like you to be number twelve. So that night I got to go in a dressing room and sit down with them and had a shot attacked in. I think I did Killed like Death and I got on stage for them and. It was a really great experience. So those guys were really nice. I saw them all on the road, so they were really cool for their first guys. Yeah, my first I'll Sabotage is first European tour. We opened for Motorhead, and I'll never forget our gears showed up like an hour before we're supposed to play.

8:28 There's four thousand kids chanting Motorhead. I'm getting Deutsche Mark's balanced off my fricking head and we haven't played a note. And so we went into. The dressing room and we grabbed the setlist and just totally ripped it up. It was like, Okay, we can't do this shit a ring, get out here alive. So we started a City Beneath the Surface and as soon as Chris came out there and did if Eddie Van Hale and Hammer Offs, the. Crowd started smiling. And after the first night, the guys, you know, when you're in an opening slot, he you know, it depends on who you're opening for. Sometimes you don't get a whole lot, and sometimes you know, they help you out.

9:08 And Phil loved. Chris and so did Lemmy and so they were just like, whatever you guys need, just ask. So it immediately turned into like a friendship. And we had a great time. And it was all the Orgasmatron tour and it was our first experience in Europe and we'll open it for these guys and they literally literally he was so nice to us that literally anything we wanted, we needed extra time for soundcheck. No worries because it's motor him. You know, as good as you are, you're not going to be motor headed. And Lemmy was sweet to us. And I'll never forget that because we'd always see him at festivals and stuff, you know, you know, different bills and stuff, just the kind of soul, just a great guy.

9:52 Who going from all rock. You would say about turning up the setlist when you're running your up festival compared to an American festival, do you switch off your set list based upon the crowd and what is your experience with US versus European audiences. Yeah, well, you know, with Spotify, we can use analytics to kind of figure out what's popular here, that was popular there, was popular there. So we do mix the setup according to what's listened to the most. As far as the stays go, we you know, right now, I don't want to focused on Europe, so we get through this. The next year we have a whole a whole bunch of stuff planned.

10:34 So this is just a kind of a test of waters to see if we would if this would work, And it's worked way better than we thought it would. So next year there's gonna be a lot more dates and a lot more stuff going on. Where thank you? Was there a love? There was there a chance? Did you ever think you'd get here back to being sabotage given that, you know the success of tens or did the success of tso prevent Sanitage from reporting Foster? I always told people that my crystal ball stop working. So I was just waiting, you know. I I was so confident and I don't know how it would happen again.

11:19 Just because when it said the music is that strong, you know, and I knew what the fans were like, by being a fan, you know, it's like that music never left me when we stopped playing. It was in me stronger. Ever, so when I saw the younger kids online, it was like, this music is growing. And I would talk to people my my Facebook page. First it went over a couple hundred thousand likes on my music page, and there was twenty thousand in Syria, and there was forty thousand in Egypt. And it was just all over the world. I was seeing all these people didn't know Transparent up just so they knew Sanitized, they knew that music. So we were like, I was just hoping that one day it would. Be able to get back out and be to the places we would be. And we went to before and.

12:01 This year we went to Argentcy in it and Chile and we never had a chance to go there. We've never had a chance to be here. So my you know, sitting there working the rabbit's foot, it kind of worked and we'll go back out. I think you got to understand this success of TSO was as much as surprise to us as it was to anybody. We did not expect that to happen, but it did. And you can't fault John and Paul. We're taking that on because TSLA has becomes just a huge hit in America. Along with that is the Sabotage fan mix. They never gave up. We haven't played properly done a proper tour in twenty three years, but we've been hearing this ever since the last show we did back in two thousand.

12:48 And two, so we knew that the interest. Was there, but seeing this happen the way it's happening right now is not being short of encouraging. We're all just so excited to the back over Typhernay music. And you asked, so what can you tell us? Like I said before, we we got a lot of music that's in the can, demo's done, and John's still writing about things. You know, we're still writing stuff. So you don't have as a date set. In stone, but we're gonna do a more extensive touring than we did this year. We're looking to hit Asia, do more South America dates, get into Mexico, can definitely come back, do the European Festival run.

13:31 So there's just gonna be a lot more alive dates coming up next year. And now that we're out, we can kind of you know, get some better slots still be openings, you know, I mean we barely got a bus, that's how late. If we started calling in November, you get a bus from June and they were like, what are you crazy? You ain't getting a bus? So I mean it. It was decided a little late, but it was decided, and here we are. Next year is gonna be even better. I'm glad you're here. Hi. 14:13 Would you post it here in your you. Know list or your next time touring Europe? Would you post miss Turkey? Because we were never able to look, you know, see you over there. No place is off the table. So yeah, I I think with the reaction of what we've done so far, there's a lot of possibilities out of this. We got to take this day day by day. Chris says that all the time, but it's absolutely correct. We don't really know yet, but things are looking very good. We've we've done really well on this run so far. I think it's gonna open up some real opportunities for us in the future. Thank you. 15:03 Well, I mean right right now, like Jeff just said, and I said, we're going day by day on all this, what is going to be in the future of sabotage. Is gonna be what happens next. You know, It's like we can't even exactly say that right now. I know it sounds a little spinal tappish, but it's like we're just happy to be back. You know, Like I said, a year ago, I didn't know I would be sitting here playing about sabotage. So the act ask who we may be working with, what we may be doing. It's like that to me is the furthest in my mind. I'm sitting here just the happiest kid in the world because my man's back. So when you collaborating you mean with TSL people musicians in general? Absolutely not. Yeah. This this was started out as four we span in Tampa, far.

15:53 With the chemistry built in and grew up its work and it was with when I joined last you know, I'm the new guy in the bands thirty year later at Woo pol And the chemistry that exists within this group of people is on the same one. More element comes from the outside of it at the same chemistry right now. So we're talking a little bout the future, like toss a bit.
