On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Seth from Shallow Side, who do some awesome covers, and it’s not often we say that. Pipeman and Seth talk about how people don’t want to come to a show to just listen to music, they want to get to know the band, before Pipeman moves on to praise their take on the three songs, particularly the Journey songs, and asks why he picked those songs. Seth explains they’re three songs which give them so much inspiration. Seth also discusses the how it can be more difficult to do a cover as it can be difficult to take the main elements of a song, but also put your own spin on it. Pipeman tells an awesome story about Jack Black trying to get him to sing, to which Seth replies with an awesome story of his own playing the riff for TNT.
