And so that's interesting because we are in mental health Awareness month and so that shows something right there, like people have to sometimes what that is a very honest point. Yeah, exactly because now you said that, that makes all sense in the world to me. Now that some people it might not make sense. They'd be like, well, lma'mat But you know what, you have to respect how people feel. They have to live in their own fields, okay, and whatever makes you comfortable is what you should do.

Like I put on a different T shirt today and I was like, I look terrible in this, Like I know, we both go for that, do you know what I mean? It's massively Well it's funny too, because like even if you see pictures of yourself like I was, I don't know how I was positioned whoever was taking pictures at something I was doing last week. I was like, fuck, I look like I'm like two hundred pounds. When the hell is that? Because I know I'm not, but it looked that way. So and sometimes we look in the mirror and we see things or that nobody else sees, you know. So I think that I think it's important to bring out the awareness to people. Dysmorphia is I think so much more common than people get it credit for. Yeah, absolutely, Nearly every person in their life's probably suffered from it. If you haven't, then fucking well done, right right?

3:30 Like, who who hasn't? I want to give them a trophy if they haven't, because I mean, it's true, and it doesn't matter who you are. That's why I'm saying why I am like people think it's just the people that maybe don't look good. No, it's usually the opposites, you know, it's usually the people that you would think don't have body dys morphia. That definitely one hundred percent to There's plenty of people that don't work out at all and they're perfectly comfortable in their bodies, do you know what I mean? Well, maybe most of them. But when we got here today, our drummer Martin took his shirt off and he was like, I want to walk ab out of this, but neither of us are quite confident enough to do it right. So it's nice to have like a target of like, okay, well next year, next year, I want to feel that good. I'm kind of the same way, like I'm a surfer and I always wear my rash guard, Like you'll never see me out there with my shirt off. I'll always have a rash guard pool ocean, doesn't matter what it is. And that's just me. That's just in my head, you know, type of thing. You know, So tell our listeners a little bit about your music and what you're all about, because you guys are badass.

It is a bummer because it's like there's so many sets today that I'm like, and I always want to see the sets of the bands I'm interviewing, and then they're like, can you interview this person? Okay, exactly, So tell us about the set. Tell me because I missed a good set. Well, this was our first ever American festival. Nice, so we won't forget this today. Seeing people singing our music, wearing our merch. I felt like we played well.

5:17 We all felt good. I actually had a really good time. I love it. How would she use write it's super weird, seeing like your T shirt at the front right, coming from Scotland to Florida's very odd. I would imagine that would be a trip, right, Like you think nobody over here knows who you are and then it's like they're singing your words, wearing your merch it is. How would you compare, you know, the Danny Wimmer festivals here in the United States compared to European UK festivals, because as we know, those are all the grand days. But I've found that Danny Wimmer like took the template from those because in the States a lot of the other festivals are more like fairs, you know that, not like a real true festival, you know. Yeah, And I feel like Welcome to Rockville has respect, you know, from people overseas well. One thing I will see is they treat the artists so well nice, Like honestly, the UK treat artist shit. Really Yes, it's a Madison, you know what's weird about that? Okay, So I do coverage for Download and Bloodstock, and I keep saying how great they treat press, because a lot of festivals, not the Danny Wimmer ones, they treat press like we're like they're doing us a favor, Like I'm working, you're doing me a favor, you know.

6:39 And over there they're like, we realize we don't have a festival without you. I'm like, wow, that's pretty refreshing. So It's weird that it's like the opposite because I have never met and I've been doing Danny Wimmer festivals for so many years. I've never met artists say anything negative about how they were treated at Danny Wimmer festal we can see that already as soon as we got here, like even arriving on the track and stuff was like, what the hell? The attention to detail in terms of the crew and the staff and the catering, dressing room. That's the way artists should be treated. Like soles are very stressful, and artists sometimes have never been to that part of the country, so you're already very anxious. So if you turn up to a festival and they treat you like shit and they only give you a dressing room for thirty minutes, or you don't even have one, the crew aren't very nice, like I don't know, it just it really does make a difference. Yeah, I mean, because it's already stressful to do a show anyway, no matter who you are, how many times you've done it. You want to be as stress free as possible, yes, you know. So you want to be able to come in, load in, relax and not have ten million things go wrong for sure. Yeah, and today went pretty smoothly, very smoothly. As I said, like as soon as we got there, everyone knew exactly what they were doing and they were wanting to meet your life as easy as possible. Nice. And how did this come about? How did they had Danny Wimmer come to find you over there and bring you over here? Good question. We so we signed to

8:13 an American book and agent last year, last year, and then this was the first offer we got. Wow, this and next weekend, Yeah, exact exactly. I'll be a fun one for you too. So it's gonna be it's a big stadium. Okay, so you'll be playing a stadium show. Really, yeah, we're going to expect to be well, you're gonna be treated exactly the same, like say that. I mean, this is our first one. This is our first festival ever in America. So what what an introduction? It's a very high bar. Wow America. Wow, look at that. You see you're gonna be spoiled. Now you're gonna go to other festivals they are not Danny Wimmer and be like what We're back to downloads, So let's see what are you playing download this year? As soon as we get back. We have four days in our download festival when we get back. Yeah, I'm supposed to be a download so I'll get maybe I'll get your set there that'll be in the hometown. In the hometown.

Even if you just put thecovie, it should come up with fingers cross it comes up first. But yeah, I helped mccovie band and everything man legedly. And is there anything you want the listens to know that you got going on now coming out that we haven't covered already. We're working very hard on album four right now in Texas. We actually just came from Texas. We've been working with a producer called Machine who's done the Glamor God Follow It Boy. He's insane, he's amazing, nice and we've done two weeks with him before this tour and we're going back to download two weeks before downloads well so and it's sounding insane.

10:03 So what I'm gonna have to get a comparison from the next interview that we have between a Danny Wimmer festival and a Download festival. Oh, I'll be honest, nice, honest. You can be honest now if you want what I we'll say. The European festivals ones that we have done, they've been very good. So I think the UK is are we bet behind. You know, you know which one I do that artists raved about was health Fest not done that? So apparently they are so good at loading you in. Yeah. And France yeah yeah, I think our manager said it's really good, actually said it's amazing. Yeah. Every artist I talked to it's like the same thing they talk about Danny Wimmer. It's like how they treat ours and like it's so stress free, you know, and the sound is perfect. Like that's the biggest stress is the sound being a problem. So here you are, you're at You're at the pinnacle, and now you have everything else to compare from it. There you go. I love it.

11:01 It's funny Download though, because it's like that is our home turf. So it's like this weird thing of like the crowds unbelievable, right, I can't. Yeah, I mean Download is an incredible festival for punt us, Like they're real music fans. Yeah, it's gonna be sick. It's massive as well. It's huge. Can't wait to see there.
