Speaking of head wreck, I have my battle vest here has blood on it from a twenty foot stage dive where I knocked out my teeth. So that was pretty much a head wreck. Right, yea, that very much your head wolves wrecked. I could be like your mascot, put you on a shut and shit, I know right, you know, with the blood coming down my head and stuff metal brutle meadow.

We pretty much started with its another couple members, and then Dane and Colby, who now played drums and bass, were just local fans of the bands that. We were their favorite band, their favorites band. Ever, isn't that right, Dane? That is one hundred true, absolutely factual. This is the truth. And then they just begged and pleaded so much, like please let us join the band, please let us join the band, and then we're like, okay. So we fucked off these other two guys and we got Dane and Colby and and here we are.

One is the fact that you know, basically that you take on these fans, they're gonna be so good in the band because they're already like so into it. Yeah okay, And I think it kind of forms a bond that's not breakable very easily. Yeah, Like i'd say, like for Colby, jamo a guitaris is one of his heroes. Yeah, yeah, that's also factual. I would agree. What's it feel like being in the band that you absolutely loved?

2:19 It's just fun honestly, Like that, you can kind of picture the ulternate timeline where it's like, now we're a dark, mysterious heavy metal band, and it's like, man, that's just like not genuine, that's not who we are for real. Well, you know, it's funny. You should say that, because it is funny with the outside world thinks of us metal heads, you know. And I've had interviews with people and like some of the artists will be like, yeah, let's keep them thinking we're these scary dudes. We're dark and twisted, right. And I find that the metal community I talk about it all the time is like the nicest. People, dude. Like you watch any mosh pits folds down, everyone stops and picks them back up, like no doubt.

3:03 Yeah, Like it's very very much a community. Absolutely, And I actually have a solution to all the world's problems right now, which there's a lot. Yeah, I think we should have one. I could name probably one hundred up from the States. Oh yeah. So like I'm like feeling really at peace being here and away from the crazies, you know. But I think we should have a music festival for the whole world that everybody's required to attend and then everybody just works it out in the mosh pit. And what do we call it? Fuck the World Festival, Fuck.

I leave the country a lot, the United States, and every time I go back, they fucking give me a hard time getting back in my own coat. Really, and they even asked me why are you here? Well, did you not look I live here? Like what's wrong with you? Oh my god, it's ridiculous, Like I'm just here like a bous Now.

4:29 I could come into the UK. It takes me two seconds and nobody asked me anything, like, I don't get it, Like why is it so hard for me to go home? Yeah? You know, but marsh pits, like we were talking about. That's why I have that idea because I think marsh pits have saved a lot of people in my life, meaning because I didn't kick the shit out of them on the streets. You know, I got all my shit out in the pit, and then I'll have to kick their ass. And I think if it's fair game as well, in the mush, everybody feels like they're on an equal playing field, like everybody's gonna get out as much aggression as they want and then the world's gonna be finally at peace. Exactly, And I'll tell you what else too. So a couple of years ago when Bring Me to Rise and Headline Download, I was in their pit and there was a dude. Hmmm, that guy over there, he's small compared to the dude, Okay, the big guy is. This guy was like, I don't know, six foot seven and a fuck six seven and a buff dude, and he went, you know, yeah, we do feet and inches like we don't do centimeters. So I don't know how to even translate that to you. Uh it's tall, We'll just say that.

5:45 But he he was a big dude, and he went in there like a lot of big dudes do to show how tough he was. It's not what the pit's about, dude, you know. And I love those dudes in the pick because I'm a little guy. And I'll come around and i'll do like Mike Tyson. I'll get down low, come up, elbow you, and I'll be on the other side of pit. You won't even know who hit you. I thought you were gonna say, you're gonna body his ear off. I could do that too, if but I can't reach he's too big, scrap, you know. So, uh. Did you have speaking of that. Did you happen to see that they had a commercial. I don't know if they had it over here, but in the States with him in holy Field hanging out and they had a cake for something and it was an ear and it was what an ear.

6:35 Finally gets to relive the Golden mermad. I know, right, dude, there's like some of the mic toss and stuff. There's like a mic toss in ear weed grind up, so it just looks like an ear. He's got some shit going around. It's so funny, man. Uh. But this dude was going in to try to hurt people, and what ended up happens. First, everybody started ganging up on him to remove him, and this dude bigger than him came up to him and he goes, hey, why don't you pick on somebody your own size, And you could see the look in his eye that the other. Dude was like, yeah, I better not fuck with this dude, and. He physically removed him from the pit. And I've watched the whole time this dude stayed out of the pit like on the outskirts and didn't do it again.

7:24 Gotta remember you can be a big prick in the pit. But there will always be a bigger prick. That's right, and we'll all us ankle biters will come gang up on you and take you down and take you out of the pit. Like, don't do that, Like just be cool man, you know, just because you're bit you don't need to show you're tough. That's what we're all about. We're about family being together, picking each other up and taking care of each other. And the world can learn a lesson from metal heads for sure. Honestly, fuck the World Festival twenty twenty seven and so we'll coming back. Yeah, yeah, don't be a prick in the pit there it is. Don't be a prick, go to the head wreck pit.

8:08 That works. So now what else you got going on after this festival? So we've already been here for about five or six weeks. Just we did a tour with pow Dusk, a few UK headline shows and stuff. But yeah, we have only another three shows left. A support with Wee came as Romans and then to Throne and then yeah, back to OZ on Wednesday for after what's been a very long seven weeks.
