00:00:09.000 --> 00:00:12.279
Wow for you.

3
00:00:19.239 --> 00:00:21.440
This is the pipe Man here on the Inventions pipe

4
00:00:21.440 --> 00:00:23.679
Man W four c Y Radio and I'm here.

5
00:00:23.519 --> 00:00:26.879
With Sebastian I play lead guitar and return to Dust

6
00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:29.320
and I'm London and I played drums and return to Dust.

7
00:00:29.760 --> 00:00:35.079
Nice here at download, Like what the fuck? We were

8
00:00:35.200 --> 00:00:40.039
here across the pond, Like I didn't even expect that,

9
00:00:40.439 --> 00:00:43.719
you know, and you probably didn't expect that. It's like

10
00:00:44.079 --> 00:00:44.719
here we are.

11
00:00:45.240 --> 00:00:47.240
We were shocked to see you here because you're probably

12
00:00:47.240 --> 00:00:50.000
the only person we know in this Preston I know, right,

13
00:00:50.439 --> 00:00:53.280
Daytona together choice now Yeah, yeah.

14
00:00:52.880 --> 00:00:53.439
Yep, yeap.

15
00:00:53.640 --> 00:00:57.079
So look at what Wimber does for bands like you

16
00:00:57.119 --> 00:01:01.280
guys like Silly Goose played yesterday, you know, and it's like,

17
00:01:02.399 --> 00:01:04.760
I don't know without Wimmer if you guys would be

18
00:01:04.879 --> 00:01:07.480
at download or sy Goose at download. You know.

19
00:01:07.920 --> 00:01:10.760
Yeah, that guy's he's done so much for us and

20
00:01:10.840 --> 00:01:13.719
we're honestly gonna be grateful to that guy forever.

21
00:01:14.480 --> 00:01:17.159
Yeah, And that's what he's about, you know. He's always

22
00:01:17.159 --> 00:01:23.439
about taking bands he sees a vision and like boosting them. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, It's.

23
00:01:23.280 --> 00:01:25.079
Got the A and R brain, the A and R

24
00:01:25.159 --> 00:01:26.599
side of him has never left.

25
00:01:26.879 --> 00:01:31.239
No doubt, no doubt. Yeah. So now that you're over

26
00:01:31.280 --> 00:01:36.480
here at download without pissing them off, how do you

27
00:01:36.640 --> 00:01:40.280
compare the DWP festivals to Download M.

28
00:01:41.280 --> 00:01:43.599
Well, if we get into the catering side.

29
00:01:43.359 --> 00:01:45.640
Of things, yeah, let's talk about that.

30
00:01:47.799 --> 00:01:51.079
Get free catering at Danny Mommer festivals all the time.

31
00:01:52.840 --> 00:01:55.319
It's a little hard here. But other than that, like

32
00:01:55.400 --> 00:01:58.799
festival wise, it's it's hard to say, just because you know,

33
00:01:58.840 --> 00:02:02.040
if we're talking crowd the people in the States don't

34
00:02:02.280 --> 00:02:06.840
usually go that hard or crazy. They're none just kind

35
00:02:06.840 --> 00:02:09.039
of stand aren'te rolled And if you get into them,

36
00:02:09.039 --> 00:02:10.639
they'll just be like that, you know, the head banging.

37
00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:14.479
But man, the crowd today was probably one of the

38
00:02:14.520 --> 00:02:17.919
craziest crowds we played to in a long time.

39
00:02:18.240 --> 00:02:19.159
U K's like that.

40
00:02:19.199 --> 00:02:19.400
Man.

41
00:02:19.479 --> 00:02:23.319
They love in Europe too, they love music.

42
00:02:23.520 --> 00:02:26.039
Yeah, and that's all we've heard before we came people

43
00:02:26.039 --> 00:02:27.840
were like, oh, the crowds, the cross the crowd. So

44
00:02:28.280 --> 00:02:31.280
I came in with expectation and they just blew it

45
00:02:31.960 --> 00:02:32.599
out of the water.

46
00:02:33.240 --> 00:02:36.039
How do you feel like the logistics are for you

47
00:02:36.120 --> 00:02:42.039
as a band? Like with load in and sound checked, comparable. Yeah,

48
00:02:42.159 --> 00:02:43.199
I think all.

49
00:02:43.080 --> 00:02:44.080
Of them are pretty smooth.

50
00:02:44.319 --> 00:02:48.560
The Wim festivals move at such a such an intense

51
00:02:48.639 --> 00:02:51.240
pace too, where it's like you gotta be like nailed

52
00:02:51.240 --> 00:02:54.680
to the tea, you know. And it's a little bit

53
00:02:54.719 --> 00:02:57.840
more laid back over here, which is nice. Yeah, but

54
00:02:58.639 --> 00:03:01.919
I feel like they're just they're so different.

55
00:03:02.919 --> 00:03:03.159
Yeah.

56
00:03:03.199 --> 00:03:07.199
Well, but he has taken some things from over here

57
00:03:07.360 --> 00:03:10.199
and from you know, like he went to Helfest check

58
00:03:10.280 --> 00:03:13.879
that out, and you know, applied it to where. I

59
00:03:13.919 --> 00:03:16.840
think the Wimmer festivals are better than they've ever been

60
00:03:17.400 --> 00:03:22.280
because they have more of a European UK vibe as

61
00:03:22.520 --> 00:03:27.000
far as the mixture of music and you know, just

62
00:03:27.080 --> 00:03:31.039
how it's run in some ways. And it's not like

63
00:03:31.759 --> 00:03:36.120
the festivals in America used to be carnivals basically, you know,

64
00:03:36.759 --> 00:03:41.360
and so it's more of a event instead of like

65
00:03:41.520 --> 00:03:45.439
some carnate type of thing, yeah, which came from over here,

66
00:03:45.479 --> 00:03:45.960
I believe.

67
00:03:46.280 --> 00:03:50.439
Yeah, they have such structured it's very structured back you know,

68
00:03:50.479 --> 00:03:53.719
the Danny Wimmer festivals. I feel everything's very like you said,

69
00:03:53.800 --> 00:03:57.960
laid back here. And also it's cool because I didn't

70
00:03:58.000 --> 00:04:00.199
expect a lot of these festivals to be really is

71
00:04:00.240 --> 00:04:02.759
mainly heavy metal, Like we played rocking was it rock

72
00:04:02.800 --> 00:04:03.280
and Ring?

73
00:04:03.479 --> 00:04:03.759
Yeah?

74
00:04:03.840 --> 00:04:07.520
That was like Mega Death was playing the day. Was

75
00:04:07.520 --> 00:04:11.240
that mystic one of these festivals where it was like

76
00:04:11.400 --> 00:04:13.719
straight heavy metal And we played the show and you know,

77
00:04:13.719 --> 00:04:16.079
we play our kind of our soft songs and we

78
00:04:16.120 --> 00:04:19.079
got off stage and I was like, we got you know,

79
00:04:19.120 --> 00:04:21.879
if if you know, Mega Death is headlining the day,

80
00:04:22.160 --> 00:04:24.839
we got to absolutely feed into the heaviness of the festivals.

81
00:04:24.920 --> 00:04:27.439
So there's a lot more, uh a lot more to

82
00:04:27.519 --> 00:04:29.079
consider when it comes to these festivals.

83
00:04:29.160 --> 00:04:33.720
Yeah, well download definitely fits in because download always has

84
00:04:33.759 --> 00:04:38.560
like a range of music. It's not considered a metal Yeah, yeah,

85
00:04:38.639 --> 00:04:42.800
it has metal big difference absolutely, So you guys in

86
00:04:42.839 --> 00:04:43.480
perfectly here.

87
00:04:43.800 --> 00:04:46.800
Yeah at the and it it showed today with the

88
00:04:47.000 --> 00:04:49.759
with the show, because I mean there's people who didn't

89
00:04:49.759 --> 00:04:51.759
know us and they still rocked out, and there's like

90
00:04:51.800 --> 00:04:54.240
a good thirty percent of people who did wearing our

91
00:04:54.279 --> 00:04:58.720
merch and singing along and it was it was just wild, unbelievable.

92
00:04:58.959 --> 00:05:01.839
Just across the wor old people that have our merch

93
00:05:01.920 --> 00:05:04.240
and they know our names and they know the songs.

94
00:05:04.480 --> 00:05:05.639
Never could have imagined that one.

95
00:05:05.680 --> 00:05:07.040
That's wild, right, mm hmm.

96
00:05:07.279 --> 00:05:07.600
Yeah.

97
00:05:07.959 --> 00:05:11.079
Well, I'm glad you're here at download. I'm glad we

98
00:05:11.160 --> 00:05:14.600
got together. And man, I can't wait to see more

99
00:05:14.639 --> 00:05:14.839
of you.

100
00:05:15.240 --> 00:05:17.199
Oh yeah, absolutely, there's a lot more on the horizon.

101
00:05:18.360 --> 00:05:22.920
Nice. Well, tell everybody real quick you're social, so they

102
00:05:22.920 --> 00:05:25.240
can find out all those things on the horizon.

103
00:05:26.160 --> 00:05:29.240
Return to dust bands pretty much. You can look that

104
00:05:29.360 --> 00:05:38.000
up everywhere Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora. Yeah,

105
00:05:38.079 --> 00:05:40.959
and there's a lot coming. I think the whole album coming,

106
00:05:41.000 --> 00:05:42.079
so so be prepared.

107
00:05:42.279 --> 00:05:44.680
Everybody watch out for them by their merch too, or

108
00:05:44.720 --> 00:05:48.519
