So that was very good, Like it was like you rehearsed it and you didn't. It was really good. But it's just like your show, because your show's really fucking good. Thank you. 1:25 And here on ship rocked amazing, like, oh my god, the crowd was amazing. And I gotta tell you something real quick, and we'll get back to that. But so I was heading to a set of some other band I can't remember now who it was, and I got sidetracked because I saw somebody singing in the piano bar as I'm walking past it. Yes, yes, yes, is it me? It was you, and you were bad ass. I love how you disguised your voice to sound exactly the way you should for that song. And the cool thing is he's going to give us a little demo of it, right, yeah, oh I love that.

2:06 Do it, do it, do it. But it sounds more like Mickey Mouse than Barry Gibbo thing. But you know, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was really good. Listen. It stopped me from going to another set that with somebody who was actually going to be interviewing, and I should have been there, but it was just too good. It was too much fun. Singing begs you to stop whatever you. Do exactly, and everybody loved it in there. It was so wild. I was like, that was really cool. The gand piano was ripping as well. He was great. Yeah, oh yeah, he was totally. Here's something funny though that somebody noticed and said something to me and I didn't notice it. And then afterwards, well, let's just stairway at Heaven. I'm like, oh my god.

2:52 They were right. Some of those lyrics were wrong, wrong. Some of the lyrics were wrong of him, not you of him singing, because I think the loss in the translation, because I think it was Italian. It sounded like he was Italian, so I think there was a loss in translation of words, like you know how you translate words from another language and it really doesn't come across the same. So he's like somebody saying, I didn't notice it when they say it, because it sounded like it's just like when US fan sing songs of bands and they're the wrong lyrics, but it still sounds like it's right. But then I'm say stairway to Heaven, and I'm going, wait, that's not the lie.

3:37 What did he even say? Well, but he was badass though, not taking anything away from him, because man, he that place was more packed than I think any set that night. It was. It was my favorite part of that night, even more so than playing right. My memories a bit hazy, be Honestly, I didn't think that was that many people there. But yeah, there was the video clips. Yeah, a lot. Of people keep coming up to me saying I did a great. Job, So, yeah, I got here. I think I'll pull out during the interview. Yeah, let's pull it out. We'll talk about something while I find it, like the struts, Let's talk about the struts for a second.

4:19 Yeah. But so, how's it how you like being on ship rock the how's it different to play on a boat opposed to a festival show or whatever? With this One's doubly different because we've done two cruises before. We did one with Kid Rock in twenty sixteen, and we did the Rock Boat last year, and this particular lineup and this, like say, brand of rock music is slightly different to what well, it's what I sound to be honest with you, right, and week thrive of that when we do a lot of these festivals like Carolina Rebellion and like the Rock on the Range, all the ones that are like the kind of heavy rock, and we always do stand out like a sore thumb on those festival I know, we love it, and I think fans really enjoy it because it's a slight.

5:08 Different breath of fresh air. So we really felt that on this boat as well, Like when we play on the top deck. We have even heavier songs in our catalog. We've got one that we did with Tom Morello and we chose not to play that because like in place of one that everyone could wave their hands in the air and there's a bit more like seven ees glam. So we just leaned into that and it's been really fun for us and I think really fun for other people on board as well. Yeah, and I've known this from my point of view, Like you're mentioning all these festivals, which are all ones I do. It's like, even though you're not really the same exact genre, fucking everybody loves you, you would think that it was the same as much as they get into it.

5:51 Yeah, no, thank you. And I saw that in your set because it's like somebody doesn't even have to like your music to love your live show because there's so much energy and talent too. Somebody was saying to me the other night. They turned to me and they're like, I think it was Mike that said it, but I can't remember. He was like, Luke has a real Freddie Mercury vibe, and you guys have like a real queen vibe. And that's a high compliment for sure, But you guys have so much energy that you bring and you make it fun. Like there's some metal bands on a metal Head that I love, and I don't like them live because they're just sitting there playing. But then I was like, I have to go to your set because it's like it's just so much fun and energy, energetic and positive, and you guys just bring it every time.

You probably didn't notice if you see in here at one point, let me see how much Luke is into your singing. He was having the best time while you were singing. I think Luke was going up to do Queen and we were like, no, getas in first, like we've all heard you sing that, Adam In I.

7:25 Literally walked in and oh I walked down there and I was pulled on stage. I didn't have a choice, So yeah, yeah is what it is. That's the way it happens. Right late enough tonight, Maybe I'll do something. Else there you go, what would you do? Oh, I don't know, maybe not Beg's again. You could show off your range and do something super deep and croonery. Yeah I could do that. Yeah, well I could do tragedy, isn't there? So what else you guys got going on for twenty twenty five. Well, we are celebrating ten years since we came to the States. Wow. So we're trying to work out a way that we can tie that in as well as give the fansom new stuff as well. But yeah, it was ten years ago.

8:09 Was honestly the coolest year of our life. Like we signed out in USA, we played our first show. We toured from August of twenty fifteen up until New Year's Eve with Motley Crue at Staples Center. Wow. So we had like the moment, we had the coolest six months of twenty fifteen. So yeah, we were like, that was ten years ago. Boys, let's do something special for that. And that's what we got cooking up as well as some new music and yeah, it's going to be an exciting year and lots to celebrate. Very cool. That's something I always think is interesting like Americans, well and I know me specifically too. It's like we always wanted to go over to the UK because of the music. You know, you had the British metal Invasion, you had the punk movement. I remember I was a teenager and all I wanted to do was go to London to see the punk scene there, and like, it's so funny because every UK band, because I covered Download, I covered Bloodstock, and every UK band I ever talked.

9:07 To, all they ever talk about is the States. So it's so wild to me, Like it's like the perspectives from either side. Even a Beatle was interview I saw this morning where George Harrison was like, yeah, we just want to do America, right. And yeah, that was interesting. It was insane when they did come here like it. It was nice for them because they were the biggest band in England and then the biggest band in America. We were tiny in England and then blew up in America. So yeah, we came to America not out of like want or choice. It was like we had to because we. Like no one, not that no one likes in England, but it was like we were selling small tickets and small clubs and then we ended up getting dropped by a Rocca label and got interest over here, so it was like we just had to come here and we were so happy we did, and we were so grateful that America likes a van.

10:02 That's cool and we all live in the States now. Oh so, so where does the UK think of you guys. Now they've come back around a decade later, right, we played some great shows back home, now we have some really good It's really interesting because we don't have the same media support in the UK, which was a big problem when we was yeah, which is why we couldn't really break. And it's strange because we still have some but it's still not as much as we get, not as much love as we get in the USA. Even No, everybody wants to interview you here. No, we love it. It's great. Please And but what's really cool is we'll still sell amazing tickets in the UK now just because I guess power of Spotify and Apple Music and all the streamers.

10:46 So that's how the people have still discovered it. And like it's not so gatekeepery, but it's been interesting for us to bae to break in our own country backwards. The fact that we. Broke in the States first and then went back to England is wild for us, but we did it. It is a trip, right, So what else do you want to tell the listeners that we haven't covered yet that they need to know that's going on or coming up for you guys? Honestly, if we're putting a live show near you this summer. Please please come out and see it because there's nothing like it. Thank you, bro. Well there you go. Yeah, I'll let you do the plugin. Well, no doubt. Like I will see you guys every single time because I'm into live music and I'm into bands that create it as a live performance, not a live playing of the album or whatever. And you guys, I mean, you just bring it every time and the energy and you can see the synergy between you guys too, and that's so important because we can tell when we're looking up whether you're into it or you're not into it, and we just that's why we give you back the energy, because you give us that energy that we feed off of.
