And then like I I turned around and I'm like time to go back, and I'm just like security guard and I was like, sorry, sir, let's go. I'm like walking back and I'm like, am I going to get led to an office and scolded or I'm going to let back? Right?

So this reminds me of like all our pencil cases and stuff in high school when you to draw band logos all over Oh, we had.

6:15 Yeah, I don't know if you had this in Australia, but we had the peachy folders, those yellow fold their yellow folders, they look like sports folders. And we used to draw the logos. Probably we probably called it something different though, because Australia we just call them like weird stuff. But yes, yeah, right, like logos on like school book slash everything in school because all you had, that's all you had to kill time, right, you did't have a screen, so you drew band logos on your stuff. We should exactly scratched it into a desk. So pick a band on here that you would love to tour with. Oh gee, I mean you got a Metallica patch there, Like it's it has to be Metallica, all right, I love that. I mean it just it just has to. That leads me to another question to ask you, because like when you're up they're doing your show with all that pirate technics, do you ever have like these fear moments of your head of being Hetfield.

7:07 Yeah, that's one of the references. It's more one of the references like don't want to do a headfield right, like and you do, like because we've had some close calls occasionally. Sometimes the crazy thing is like, luckily, it's really rare that it happens that something misfires, like a queue is off and someone hits at the wrong time and you weren't expecting it, and we've always been away from the jet when it's happened. But every time that happens, I'm like, I'm so fucking glad I wasn't near that thing just then. So yeah, it is like and the amount of stuff that we've got, I'm kind of like the person that's just like, hey, do it until like till it's gonna hurt, right, So I'm like, if I'm not, I want to be living on that kind of edge kind of thing. But it's a really fine line to walk, like it's so too much because it becomes too much in the space of like a quarter of it, and in order of it, it's that all that's all it takes.

Still really while you were out there.

8:41 Yeah, first time was in Hawaii, and it was weird. It was like I was having anybody and though I was, I got out and it wasn't like in the movies. I just had this little tinge in my arm, so I thought it was it's Hawaii. I thought it was the paddling I did that, but that was art type. But then Hawaii fucking American Healthcare they fucked me up. Yep, they misplaced the stent they put in. So I went a whole year of recovery and I kept telling the doctor, I don't feel normal, Like people say you're gonna feel like twenty years younger. I'm like I felt twenty years younger before the heart. Yeah, it's just a slayer mash yeah yeah yeah, Now I don't want to go Yeah, And so I went to Costa Rica away released me.

9:24 After year after year, they clear you. I went to Costa Rica go surfing. I was on a ten foot wave and all I remember is going, oh fuck, not again. And then I had the massive heart attack on top of the wave. And then if I was good, if it was gonna happen, Costa Rica is a place to happen. Because I paddled back to shore and all the ticos and tikas came and grabbed me. They called the ambulance where I live in Florida, and Florida they would have just walked over me. Why fucking took care of me? And my insurance company would not give them approval because it takes forty eight to seventy two hours. And the carreologists said to me they're not going to pay us anyway, and put me in the Costa Rican system as if I was a citizen, like because they have free healthcare and they fucking like killed it taking care of me.

10:16 My carreologist in Florida was like, he did. A really good job. Yeah you were lucky man, lah And so yeah, my my carriologist says, I guess no more surfing for you. I'm like and he saw the look in my eyes. He goes, I'm just kidding. It's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, try telling any surf that lot. By the way, you're not gonna be a surfa any. Like like if I'm good, die it's either surfing or sex or moshpit one of the three, right, you know? So, where has been your most favorite place to surf in the world. I love Hawaii, like I've done like seven seasons over on the North Shore. It's so wild to hear that because you're in Australia and like all of us Americans like that's the pinnacle.

11:00 And I've talked about this with Ellen Weaponry, like you talk a lot about surfing, and we talked about how people look at Point Break the movie and think that is what it is at that surf spot, and apparently that's not what it is. That surf Yeah, it's another surf pot. They filmed that, like well, the Lost Wipeouts like filmed at why Maa, like you know what, one where he's like, I'm just gonna go out of Bell's Beach and I'm gonna die. I was just a stun sofa though, like it's a film. This just paddle out at wymea and take a psycho wipeout and it was nice. I wouldn't do that again if someone paid me to. Did you see that some. Guy just broke a record up in northern California? Yeah? Yeah, the maps? Oh my gosh, how massive is that? Wife, Like it's mine.

11:44 I would be shipping in my pants, like you know. It's like you watch Point Greg. I'm like, man, I'd like to surf that fifty foot way. But in reality, if you were seeing in front of it, You're like, oh fuck, no, that's it. I don't really need to surf anything where I'm needing a jet skate of toy, right. So I write a lid most of the time as well. So I like slabs. I like things with steps in them. I one something that's gonna throw a challenge at me, Like I love Pipeline. The best wave I've ever CD. I was like a fucking pipe ball. Day before that heart attack, I was at Pipeline. They had the competition going on thirty five foot waves. They canceled the competition. It was so bad. I literally stood at the. Edge like ankle deep in the water, and within ten seconds I was knee deep in sand and flipped on my ass.

12:31 I was in the fucking one. It's so mentally and like, yeah, I don't think I got a paddle out there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it. And it feels so easy to paddle out there because it's so close as well, right, and it is easy to get out like that joints so dangerous because of that, It's like it's feel super accessible for people. So yeah, but that's my favorite spot to go, and so the best way Maga cord has been piped. So if you ever play Hellfest in the future, yeah, that's why I did. When I went to Covered Healthfest after COVID, I went the coastline. I forget the name, the Alane or some some French name is a surf spot. So I did heal Fest one weekend during the week surf health Fest in the end.
